Vegas XL features, one link at a time
The tile only names the features. What follows is Springbok's description from its preview, with its counts on the spec sheet; the rules page in the game's menu has the final word.
| Feature | What sets it off | What happens |
|---|---|---|
| Free games | Vault scatters landing in the same spin | Free games with multipliers, which can retrigger a limited number of times |
| Oversized symbol | Can land on the middle reels only | Covering all of them leads to a short run of re-spins or to the Jackpot Pick |
| Jackpot Pick | Reached through the oversized symbol | A board of mystery boxes; a matching set wins the jackpot it shows |
The oversized symbol
In the preview, the big symbol only appears across the middle reels, never the first or the last. When it fills all of them at once, the preview links that moment to two outcomes, a few re-spins or the Jackpot Pick; the rules page says which you get and why.
The Jackpot Pick and the free games
The pick is a box game: open mystery boxes from a board, and a matching set wins that jackpot. The tile names three prizes, Major, Minor and Mini, without saying whether they are fixed or grow, and Vegas XL is not in the lobby's Progressives tab. Either way, no jackpot amount is quoted here.
Springbok's claim The free games come from vault scatters, with multipliers on wins and a cap on retriggers. Springbok's figures do not include the number of free games or the multiplier values, so check both in the game first.
Vegas XL beside the other 243-ways jackpot slots
Two other titles we document list a Jackpot Pick on the same ways count, and a third reaches named jackpots another way. From the lobby tiles:
| Slot | Volatility | Layout (tile) | Jackpot route on the tile | Lobby release |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Vegas XL | medium | 243 ways | Jackpot Pick Bonus for Major, Minor and Mini | 2022 |
| Mighty Drums | low | 243 ways | Jackpot Pick feature | 2023 |
| Prosperity Pots: Lucky Coins | high | 5 reels · 243 ways | Jackpot Pick alongside Hold and Spin | 2026 |
| Coyote Cash 2 | medium | 5 reels x 3 rows · 243 ways | Hold & Spin for Mini, Minor, Major and Grand | 2026 |
The three Jackpot Pick titles span low, medium and high, with Vegas XL in the middle, and of the three only its spec sheet carries Springbok's account of how the pick is reached. Coyote Cash 2 matches Vegas XL on volatility and ways, but gets to its jackpots through Hold & Spin and adds a Grand above the three tiers Vegas XL lists.
Where to find Vegas XL in the lobby
Vegas XL is on none of the lobby's shortlists: the Popular, New Games, 2X Double Comps and Progressives tabs all left it out on 9 October 2026. Find it in the A to Z Slots tab, title 202 of 244, sandwiched between Vegas Lux and Voodoo Magic.
Mind the neighbour on the left: Vegas Lux is a different game with a similar name and no spec sheet here, so nothing on this page applies to it. The official card art sets the scene the tile leaves out, a man in a tuxedo and bow tie before a purple-lit Las Vegas skyline, and Springbok's preview pitches the game as a night out in Vegas.
For the rest of the tab, see the guide to Springbok's slots; for what the RTG label on the tile covers, the RTG guide.
Playing Vegas XL with a deposit bonus
SPRINGBOK300 matches 300% of a deposit up to R9,000, and a match that size has a firmer ceiling: Deposit bonuses above 100% carry a maximum cashout of 15x the deposit amount unless stated otherwise. Checked · 9 Oct 2026 If the ceiling matters more to you than the bigger balance, the smaller welcome match is the alternative. Set your spending limit before the Jackpot Pick tempts you to raise the stake.
Springbok's October free spins are a separate coupon for Seahorse Surge, and spins only work on their own game, so they cannot be spent on Vegas XL. The free spins guide explains how Springbok's spin offers work.
Questions people ask
What is the RTP of Vegas XL at Springbok?
Springbok does not publish one. Neither the lobby tile nor Springbok's preview gives an RTP, a top award or a bet range for Vegas XL; the rules page in the game's own menu is the place to look.
How do you get the Jackpot Pick in Vegas XL?
Through the oversized symbol, according to Springbok's preview: when it fills all of the middle reels, the game awards either re-spins or the Jackpot Pick, a box game for the Major, Minor and Mini jackpots.
Is Vegas XL a progressive slot?
Its tile names Major, Minor and Mini jackpots without calling them progressive, and Vegas XL is not in the lobby's Progressives tab. No jackpot amounts are quoted on this site.
Is Vegas XL the same game as Vegas Lux?
No. Vegas Lux is a separate title listed just before Vegas XL in the Slots tab, and this page covers Vegas XL only.
