The Popular tab, title by title
This is the tab exactly as the lobby showed it, with each tile's volatility, layout and studio label. Titles with a spec sheet on this site are linked.

| 18 | Winnie the Piggie Las Vegas | sources disagree | 3 reels x 3 rows · 5 fixed lines | RTG (lobby); review disagrees |
| 19 | Triple Tigers | Medium | 243 ways | RTG |
Winnie the Piggie Las Vegas has no volatility in our table because its lobby tile and Springbok's own review give different labels, so we leave volatility out. Its lobby label is RTG, like the rest of the tab; only the review names another studio, which is why that cell says the review disagrees. For what the RTG label does and does not mean, see RTG at Springbok.
Classics and new releases side by side
The tab spans a wide stretch of release dates, from 2002 to 2026. Sorted by the release date in the lobby's own data, it splits into long-running favourites and a run of recent launches:
| Title | Lobby release date | Also in New Games? |
|---|---|---|
| Cleopatra's Gold | 15 February 2002 | No |
| Achilles | 1 April 2006 | No |
| Sweet 16 | 14 December 2016 | No |
| Plentiful Treasure | 7 November 2018 | No |
| Cash Bandits 3 | 22 July 2020 | No |
| Fortunate Buddha | 27 April 2022 | No |
| Sweet 16 Blast! | 29 June 2022 | No |
| Mighty Drums | 12 April 2023 | No |
| Buffalo Mania: Thunder Springs | 10 December 2025 | No |
| Blazing Horse – Huǒ Mǎ Zhāo Fú | 14 January 2026 | Yes, #18 |
| Prosperity Pots: Lucky Coins | 28 January 2026 | Yes, #17 |
| Bass Baggin' Bounty | 11 March 2026 | Yes, #14 |
| FAT CA$H | 15 April 2026 | Yes, #12 |
| Olympus Thunderhold | 13 May 2026 | Yes, #10 |
| Triple Tigers | 15 July 2026 | Yes, #6 |
| Winnie the Piggie Las Vegas | 29 July 2026 | Yes, #5 |
| Fu Long Treasures | 12 August 2026 | Yes, #4 |
| Treasure Sparks | 16 September 2026 | Yes, #2 |
| Crimson Castle | 30 September 2026 | Yes, #1 |
Buffalo Mania: Thunder Springs is the odd one out: a recent release that is not in New Games, which stops at Blazing Horse. New Games looks like a rolling window of the latest launches rather than a list of everything recent.
The older titles are where the simpler formats live: Cleopatra's Gold and Achilles both run on 20 paylines with a local random jackpot. Most of the recent ones build their bonus round around Hold & Spin and named jackpots instead.
A third shortlist sometimes shares titles with this one: the 2X Double Comps tab, which held 3 slots on 9 October 2026. Its selection rotates, so a Popular title that earns double comp points one week may not the next; check that tab before you count on the extra points.
Popular slots by volatility
Volatility is the most useful word on a tile when you choose what to play, because it describes the ride rather than the theme. In the Popular tab it breaks down like this:
- Low: Mighty Drums is the only one. The balance tends to move in small steps either way.
- Medium: the largest group, including Olympus Thunderhold, Fu Long Treasures, Fortunate Buddha, Sweet 16 Blast!, Achilles, Plentiful Treasure, Crimson Castle, Treasure Sparks, Triple Tigers, Bass Baggin' Bounty and Buffalo Mania: Thunder Springs.
- High: Sweet 16, Cleopatra's Gold, Prosperity Pots: Lucky Coins, Blazing Horse – Huǒ Mǎ Zhāo Fú and FAT CA$H.
- Very high: Cash Bandits 3 stands alone. Long runs without a win are normal here.
- Not stated: Winnie the Piggie Las Vegas, where the sources disagree.
If you plan to clear a bonus, volatility matters twice, because a high-volatility slot can swing the balance hard before the wagering is done.
What each popular slot does
Hold & Spin and jackpot rounds
Treasure Sparks (with Mystic Spark, Twin Boost and Extra Sparks collectors), Crimson Castle (with a Triggering Moon feature), Blazing Horse – Huǒ Mǎ Zhāo Fú, Prosperity Pots: Lucky Coins (alongside a Jackpot Pick and a Red Mystery Envelope), Bass Baggin' Bounty, Buffalo Mania: Thunder Springs and Winnie the Piggie Las Vegas all build their bonus around locked symbols and re-spins. Fortunate Buddha does the same under the name Fortune Link, with Mini, Minor, Major, Grand and Super Grand jackpots.
Free games, cascades and multipliers
Olympus Thunderhold, a pays-anywhere game with cascading wins, keeps its multiplier symbols for the free games. Sweet 16 Blast! cascades with a multiplier symbol, Triple Tigers adds a Bursting Wild to 243 ways, Sweet 16 pairs Morph Magic with its free games, and Plentiful Treasure has free games plus a Gold Coin feature.
Picks, wheels and classic jackpots
Fu Long Treasures mixes a Fortune Pick, Golden Harvest and Dragon Re-Spins. Mighty Drums has a Jackpot Pick, Cash Bandits 3 has Minor and Major jackpots with Vault free games, and FAT CA$H (3 reels x 1 row, classic slot) adds a Zero Re-Spin and a Bonus Wheel. Cleopatra's Gold and Achilles keep it simple with a local random jackpot.
Feature names are as the lobby tiles print them. Figures such as RTPs and top awards appear only on spec sheets, marked as Springbok's claim, and we never quote jackpot amounts.
Playing a popular slot with a bonus
All 19 titles are slots, so all of them count toward Springbok's bonus wagering. Keep each spin at or below R100 while a bonus is active, because the T&Cs void winnings from bigger bets.
If you have not played at Springbok before, the no-deposit chip below lets you spin these games with bonus money and no deposit: it is not tied to one title, so you can move between the Popular slots while you wager it. Its 60x the bonus (R15,000) requirement is steep, though, so treat it as extra play rather than a likely withdrawal. For spins rather than a chip, see the free spins guide, and for the whole Slots tab, the Springbok slots guide.
Questions people ask
What are the most popular slots at Springbok Casino?
The lobby's Popular tab listed 19 titles when we checked, starting with Olympus Thunderhold, Fu Long Treasures and Sweet 16. Springbok publishes no play counts, so the tab is the only popularity list it offers.
How does Springbok decide which slots are popular?
It does not say. The tab mixes recent releases with classics such as Cleopatra's Gold, so it is not simply a list of the newest games.
Which popular Springbok slot has the lowest volatility?
Mighty Drums, the only low-volatility title in the tab. Cash Bandits 3 sits at the other end as the only very high one.
Are Springbok's popular slots new games?
Some are. Most recent releases on the tab also appear in New Games, but the oldest title, Cleopatra's Gold, dates from 2002 in the lobby's data.
