Springbok casino software provider: what each source says
Springbok names its software in several places, and they do not all agree. Here is each source, from the most reliable to the least:
| Where | What it says | How much weight it carries |
|---|---|---|
| Lobby game labels | 233 games say RTG and 49 say IG | The live lobby itself, read on 9 October 2026 |
| Site footer | A Realtime Gaming (RTG) badge | Springbok's own site, current |
| Recent press releases and articles | Seahorse Surge, Coyote Cash 2, Cash Bandits 3 and Olympus Thunderhold are "by SpinLogic" | Springbok's claim; the lobby labels all four RTG |
| One game review | Names Booming Games as the studio behind Winnie the Piggie Las Vegas | Springbok's claim, and it contradicts the lobby's RTG label, so our tables show the lobby label and note that the review disagrees |
| Springbok's Realtime Gaming page | Describes RTG software, including live dealer games and tables that are no longer in the lobby | Out of date against the lobby |

The IG label: which games carry it
IG is the smaller of the two lobby labels and the one with no explanation: neither Springbok's pages nor the lobby spell it out. What we can show is which games carry it. Among the slots we document, these do:
| Game | What it is | Lobby label |
|---|---|---|
| Megasaur | Network progressive, 25 fixed paylines | IG |
| Spirit of the Inca | Network progressive, 25 paylines | IG |
| Jackpot Piñatas Deluxe | Network progressive, 20 paylines | IG |
| Planet Of The 'Roos | Hold & Spin slot, in the lobby since 2024 | IG |
| Lion's Lair | A local random jackpot slot on 20 paylines, known only from its lobby tile | IG |
| Devil's Jackpot | Released 25 February 2026; its press release says it is "from RTG" | IG |
So IG mixes jackpot games, a lobby-only slot and a 2026 release that Springbok's own press copy credits to RTG. The Progressives tab is split as well: Aztec's Millions and Jackpot Cleopatra's Gold say RTG, while Megasaur, Spirit of the Inca and Jackpot Piñatas Deluxe say IG. We show the label exactly as the lobby prints it and do not guess at what it stands for.
SpinLogic: the name in the press releases
2026 Springbok press releases and articles call Seahorse Surge, Coyote Cash 2, Cash Bandits 3 and Olympus Thunderhold games 'by SpinLogic'. Springbok's claim · 9 Oct 2026
The lobby has not changed its labels to match: all four still say RTG, and Springbok has not said how SpinLogic relates to Realtime Gaming. Calling SpinLogic a new name for RTG, or a separate studio, would therefore be a guess, so we do neither and follow the lobby.
The nearest thing to a link between the two sits in Springbok's own files: its site serves a small SpinLogic Gaming badge from an image named realtimegaming.jpg. That shows the two names side by side on Springbok's server, and nothing about who owns what.

RTG slots in Springbok's lobby
Looking for RTG slots specifically? The quickest shortcut is the Popular tab: all 19 titles in it carry the RTG label in the lobby, from Cleopatra's Gold (dated 2002) to Crimson Castle (released 30 September 2026). Winnie the Piggie Las Vegas is among them, even though one Springbok review names another studio for it. Our Popular tab breakdown lists them all.
RTG is also a studio of sequels, and the Slots tab shows it. Each of these series has more than one title in the lobby:
| Series | Titles in the Slots tab | Lobby label where we have read the tile |
|---|---|---|
| Sweet 16 | Sweet 16, Sweet 16 Blast!, Sweet 16 Blast! XMAS Edition | RTG on Sweet 16 and Sweet 16 Blast! |
| Cash Bandits | Cash Bandits, Cash Bandits 2, Cash Bandits 3, Cash Bandits Museum Heist | RTG on Cash Bandits 2 and Cash Bandits 3 |
| Bubble Bubble | Bubble Bubble, Bubble Bubble 2, Bubble Bubble 3 | RTG on Bubble Bubble 2 |
| T-Rex | T-Rex, T-Rex II, T-Rex Wild Attack, T-Rex Lava Blitz | RTG on T-Rex Lava Blitz |
| Buffalo Mania | Buffalo Mania Deluxe, Buffalo Mania: Thunder Springs | RTG on both |
| Cleopatra's Gold | Cleopatra's Gold, Jackpot Cleopatra's Gold, Jackpot Cleopatra's Gold Deluxe | RTG on Cleopatra's Gold and Jackpot Cleopatra's Gold |
| Coyote Cash | Coyote Cash, Coyote Cash 2 | RTG on Coyote Cash 2 |
| Bass Baggin' | Bass Baggin', Bass Baggin' Bounty | RTG on Bass Baggin' Bounty |
| Pairs and trilogies | Achilles and Achilles Deluxe, Asgard and Asgard Deluxe, Enchanted Garden and Enchanted Garden II, Lucha Libre and Lucha Libre 2, the three Rudolph slots | RTG on Achilles; the others are not documented yet |
We print a label only where we have read the tile, which is why the undocumented sequels show none. The Springbok slots guide explains how to find any of them in a tab of 244.
What the RTG name does not tell you
Return to player
The lobby tiles do not print an RTP. Springbok's own reviews give one for many recent releases, and our spec sheets show those figures marked as Springbok's claim. For older RTG titles such as Cleopatra's Gold or Achilles, we found no RTP on any Springbok page, so none appears here.
Fairness testing
Springbok's New Zealand page says RTG games are certified fair by Technical Systems Testing (TST), and its Realtime Gaming page says independent organisations test RTG's random number generator Springbok's claim · 9 Oct 2026. Neither page links a certificate, so treat it as Springbok's statement rather than something you can check yourself.
Live dealer games
Springbok's Realtime Gaming page still talks about live dealers. The lobby tells a different story: its Live Dealer tab held 0 games when we read it, so every table at Springbok is a software game.
How long Springbok has used RTG
Springbok says it joined online gaming in 2012, on that same Realtime Gaming page. It does not say whether RTG has been its software from the start, and there is no date for when the IG label first appeared.
Playing RTG games from South Africa
For a South African player, the software shows up in a few practical ways:
- Rand only. Springbok's banking page says play is in South African rand alone, so bets, balances and limits are all shown in rand.
- Browser play. Springbok says the casino runs in any modern browser on a computer or phone, with no download or app, and the lobby marks all 282 games as mobile-enabled.
- Video poker on a phone. When we read the lobby's video poker pay tables in practice mode on 9 October 2026, the desktop lobby showed a notice for titles such as Jacks or Better and Deuces Wild that their old Flash version is no longer available there; the mobile client opened them.
- Bonuses on slots. The RTG slots count toward Springbok's bonus wagering. Its table games and video poker do not, so those are better played without a bonus.

Questions people ask
Is Springbok Casino an RTG casino?
Yes. Its footer shows the Realtime Gaming (RTG) badge, and 233 of the 282 lobby games are labelled RTG. The rest carry an unexplained IG label.
What does IG mean in the Springbok lobby?
Springbok does not say. The label appears on 49 games, including the network progressives Megasaur and Spirit of the Inca and the slots Lion's Lair and Planet Of The 'Roos.
Is SpinLogic the same as RTG?
Springbok has not said. Its recent press releases credit some new slots to SpinLogic while the lobby labels the same games RTG, so we treat the SpinLogic credit as Springbok's claim.
Does Springbok have RTG live dealer games?
No. Springbok's older Realtime Gaming page mentions live dealers, but the lobby's Live Dealer tab was empty when we checked.
Which RTG slots are popular at Springbok?
Every title in the Popular tab is labelled RTG; when we checked, the tab started with Olympus Thunderhold, Fu Long Treasures and Sweet 16.
