How the Slots tab is ordered
The Slots tab is not sorted by release date or by popularity. Its first and longest stretch runs A to Z, from 5 Wishes to Zhanshi, so even a brand-new title simply takes its alphabetical place: Crimson Castle, the newest release when we checked, sits at number 40 among the other Cs.
After Zhanshi the alphabet starts again three more times, in much shorter runs, and a single title, Cubee, closes the tab on its own. Springbok does not label these runs, but the slots we document point to a pattern:
| Stretch of the tab | Documented titles in it (lobby position) | What they have in common |
|---|---|---|
| Main A to Z run | Achilles (#2), Cash Bandits 3 (#28), Crimson Castle (#40), Mighty Drums (#127) | Most of the catalogue, old and new, whatever the reel layout |
| Second run | Devil's Jackpot (#215), FAT CA$H (#216), Liberty Rockets (#218), Winnie the Piggie Las Vegas (#228) | Small reel sets, such as FAT CA$H (3 reels x 1 row, classic slot) and Liberty Rockets (3 reels x 3 rows · 9 paylines) |
| Third run | Buffalo Mania Deluxe (#229), Seahorse Surge (#235) | Bigger layouts, such as Seahorse Surge (6 reels x 4 rows · 30 paylines) and Buffalo Mania Deluxe (4,096 ways) |
| Fourth run | Olympus Thunderhold (#240), Sweet 16 Blast! (#242) | Pays-anywhere games, with no paylines or ways to follow |
The common threads are our reading of the titles we document, not a rule Springbok publishes. The practical upshot: if a game is missing from the main alphabet, check the end of the tab before deciding it has gone.
Popular, New Games and 2X Double Comps: the shortcuts
Three smaller tabs do the sorting that the Slots tab does not:
- Popular is Springbok's own shortlist of 19 slots. It puts recent releases next to long-runners such as Achilles, dated 2006 in the lobby's data, and Springbok does not say how the list is chosen. Our Popular tab breakdown goes through it title by title.
- New Games lists the 18 latest releases, newest first, back to Blazing Horse (14 January 2026). It is not slots only: the casual games Henferno and Plinko Beyond sit in it too.
- 2X Double Comps earns double comp points on a short list that rotates. The lobby has a '2X Double Comps' tab; on 9 October 2026 it listed Olympus Thunderhold, Buffalo Mania Deluxe and Triple Tigers. Checked · 9 Oct 2026
The first two overlap heavily. Most recent slot releases appear in both, the older Popular titles such as Sweet 16, Fortunate Buddha and Cash Bandits 3 are not new, and a few new slots, Seahorse Surge and Coyote Cash 2 among them, have not made Popular. This is the New Games tab as the lobby showed it:

What a slot tile tells you
The lobby's tile text is the closest thing Springbok publishes to a spec sheet: a volatility word, the lines or ways, and a short run of feature names, plus a studio label of RTG or IG. Our spec sheets start from that text and keep any figure that only Springbok's reviews give, such as an RTP, in a separate list marked as Springbok's claim.
On the studio label: among the slots we document, IG appears on Megasaur, Spirit of the Inca, Jackpot Piñatas Deluxe, Devil's Jackpot, Lion's Lair and Planet Of The 'Roos, and every other documented slot says RTG. Springbok explains IG nowhere; our guide to RTG at Springbok sets out what is known.
Volatility, as the tiles label it
| Tile label | Documented slots | What it means for a session |
|---|---|---|
| Low | Mighty Drums, Dr. Winmore | Smaller swings: the balance tends to move slowly in both directions |
| Medium | Achilles, Plentiful Treasure, Fortunate Buddha, Vegas XL, Cash Bandits 2 and most recent releases | The middle path, and the most common label among the slots we document |
| High | Sweet 16, Cleopatra's Gold, Panda Magic, Meerkat Misfits, Big Cat Links, Count Spectacular | Longer quiet spells, with the larger features further apart |
| Very high | Cash Bandits 3, Bubble Bubble 2, Aztec's Millions | Long runs without a win are normal; set your budget with that in mind |
| Left out | The Cash is Right, Winnie the Piggie Las Vegas | The lobby tile and Springbok's own review disagree, so we do not pick a side |
Lines, ways and bonus rounds on Springbok slots
Most tiles describe one of a handful of layouts and bonus rounds. This table pairs each with slots we document, so you can see the range before you open anything:
| What the tile says | Documented examples | In plain words |
|---|---|---|
| Paylines | Cleopatra's Gold (20 paylines), Cash Bandits 3 (25 variable paylines), Fortunate Buddha (50 paylines) | Wins count only along set lines; "variable" means you may choose to play fewer of them |
| Ways | Sweet 16 (243 All Ways Pays), Panda Magic (1,024 All Ways Pays), Buffalo Mania Deluxe (4,096 ways) | Matching symbols on neighbouring reels pay wherever they land, with no lines to trace |
| Pays anywhere or clusters | Sweet 16 Blast!, Olympus Thunderhold, Dr. Winmore (Cluster game) | Enough matching symbols anywhere, or touching each other, pay; on these games the winning symbols then cascade away and new ones drop in |
| Hold & Spin and Fortune Link | Fortunate Buddha, Big Cat Links, Planet Of The 'Roos, Crimson Castle | Bonus symbols lock in place for a short run of re-spins; Springbok's reviews of Big Cat Links and Planet Of The 'Roos tie their named jackpots to this round |
| Local random jackpot | Cleopatra's Gold, Achilles, Lion's Lair | A jackpot attached to that one game that can land at random; we never quote its amount |
| Network progressive | Aztec's Millions, Megasaur, Spirit of the Inca | A jackpot pool shared beyond one game; these sit in the Progressives tab, which lists 10 titles across slots and tables |
Playing Springbok slots with a bonus
Slots are where Springbok's bonuses make sense. Every slot counts toward wagering, while the table games and video poker are missing from the T&Cs list, and a bet on an excluded game before the wagering is done can cost you the bonus. Two rules then apply on every spin:
- R100 maximum bet on any bonus; winnings from larger bets are voided. Checked · 9 Oct 2026
- Deposit bonuses carry 30x wagering on the deposit plus the bonus, which on slots means a great many spins. Pick a stake you can keep up for that long, not one that feels exciting for ten minutes.
This month's free spins are tied to a single slot, Seahorse Surge; the free spins guide has the coupon and its rules.Springbok's monthly free spins are tied to one slot at a time; the free spins guide shows whether a coupon is live.
Trying a Springbok slot before you deposit
You can open most slots without an account. Logged out, a game tile opens a small panel with Try It! next to Play, and Springbok says visitors get a single practice balance in fun money that does not top itself up (Springbok's article). Practice spins pay nothing, but they show a game's pace and features before any rand is at stake.
Use that practice run to watch one thing in particular: how long the game goes between features. On a high or very high volatility slot, a long quiet stretch in fun money feels very different once it is your own money.
The rest of the lobby, from table games to the crash games, is mapped tab by tab in the full Springbok games guide.

Questions people ask
How many slots does Springbok Casino have?
244 in the lobby's Slots tab on 9 October 2026, out of 282 games in total. The number moves as new titles arrive, so go by the date it was counted.
Where do new slots appear in the Springbok lobby?
In the New Games tab, newest first. In the main Slots tab a new title simply takes its alphabetical place, as Crimson Castle did.
Do all Springbok slots count toward bonus wagering?
Yes. Springbok's terms count all slots, and the R100 maximum bet applies to every spin while a bonus is active. Table games and video poker are not on the list.
Who makes the slots at Springbok Casino?
Springbok's footer shows Realtime Gaming (RTG), and each lobby tile is labelled either RTG or IG. Some recent press releases also credit new slots to SpinLogic, while the lobby still labels them RTG.
Can I play Springbok slots for free?
In practice mode, yes: open a tile while logged out and choose Try It!. Springbok says the fun-money balance is a one-off, and nothing won in practice can be withdrawn.
