Panda Magic features: the wild, the ticket and More Magic
The tile names four parts of the game. Springbok's preview explains three of them; More Magic gets a name and nothing else.
Magic Ticket and the free games
Springbok's claim Enough Magic Ticket scatters start the free games. The preview gives the number of games as one of a few fixed counts, listed on the spec sheet, and says every win in the round pays double: whatever a combination would pay in the base game, it pays twice that. What decides the count, and whether the round retriggers, is on the rules page in the game's menu.
The Panda Magic wild
The wild stands in for other symbols, says the tile, and the preview adds that it can expand to cover its reel. On a ways game that matters: an expanded wild turns every position on its reel into a match, so it can join symbols on either side in many combinations at once. Whether it also expands in the free games is not stated.
More Magic
Named on the tile and described on none of the Springbok pages we hold. It could be a random modifier or an extra bonus; Springbok does not say, so neither do we.
How Panda Magic pays: all ways, no lines
Panda Magic has no paylines to choose. Its tile says 1,024 All Ways Pays, the same "All Ways Pays" wording that Sweet 16 uses with a smaller count. Think of it as a chain: a symbol on the first reel, again on the second, again on the third, in any row, makes a win, and longer chains pay more.
| Slot | Layout (tile) | Volatility | Lobby release |
|---|---|---|---|
| Panda Magic | 1,024 All Ways Pays | high | 2016 |
| Sweet 16 | 243 All Ways Pays | high | 2016 |
| Bass Baggin' Bounty | 5 reels x 4 rows · 1,024 ways | medium | 2026 |
Panda Magic and Sweet 16 reached the lobby in the same year and share the high label, so each is the natural next stop from the other. Bass Baggin' Bounty matches Panda Magic's ways count and states its grid, but carries the medium label and a newer toolkit with Hold & Spin and a Buy Feature. Do not read its grid onto Panda Magic, whose tile gives the count alone.
Panda Magic's top award: what "per way" means
Springbok's claim Springbok's preview quotes Panda Magic's top award as a multiple of the bet per way; the figure is on the spec sheet. Read it exactly as written. A bet per way is a unit of the stake, not the price of a whole spin, so the award is not that multiple of what you pay each time you press spin. Springbok does not say how the two relate on this game, so we cannot convert it, and you should be wary of any page that does.
It is also a ceiling, not a typical result, and a high-volatility game can go a long way without paying anything close. No RTP or bet range is published for Panda Magic, so the game's own rules page is the current word.
Where Panda Magic sits in the Springbok lobby
Panda Magic lives in the Slots tab only: none of the Popular, New Games, 2X Double Comps or Progressives lists included it when we read the lobby on 9 October 2026. Alphabetically it is title 137 of 244, just before Panda's Gold, a separate game with a near-identical name and no spec sheet here, so check the tile before you open it.
Our Springbok image set has no card for Panda Magic, which is why the play card shows a lettered stand-in. Among the animal-themed slots we document, Meerkat Misfits and Big Cat Links share its high label but pay on paylines; the Springbok slots guide covers the rest of the tab.
Panda Magic with the free chip
The no-deposit coupon TEST-SPRINGBOK gives a R250 chip that can be played on Panda Magic, but a small chip and R15,000 of wagering pull against each other on a high-volatility game, whose dry spells can use up the chip long before the target is in sight. Treat it as a free look at the doubled free games and the expanding wild. The cash-out cap depends on which Springbok page you read. Springbok's promotions page and T&Cs cap it at R1,250; several older Springbok pages still say R500. Sources disagree · 9 Oct 2026
Questions people ask
Is Panda Magic a high-volatility slot?
Yes. The lobby tile labels it high volatility, the same as Sweet 16, the other ways game the lobby dates to 2016.
What does the Panda Magic wild do?
It substitutes for other symbols, says the lobby tile, and Springbok's preview adds that it can expand to cover its whole reel.
What is the Panda Magic top award?
Springbok's preview quotes it as a multiple of the bet per way, shown on the spec sheet as Springbok's claim. A bet per way is not the same as your total stake, and no RTP or bet range is published for the game.
Is Panda Magic the same as Panda's Gold?
No. Panda's Gold is a separate title listed straight after Panda Magic in the Slots tab; this page covers Panda Magic only.
