How Fortune Link works on Big Cat Links
Springbok's claim Springbok's preview describes Fortune Link as a round built on gold coins. It starts once enough gold coins land, and a screen covered entirely in coins pays the Super Grand, the top tier on the tile. The trigger count and the size of the grid are on the spec sheet.
The shape will look familiar if you know coin features from other RTG titles, but the figures we hold do not say whether the coins lock in place, how many re-spins you get or how each lower tier is won. So this page does not call it a Hold & Spin round, and the game's rules page is the place to confirm the details.
The free games
Scatters trigger the free games. Springbok's preview gives an upper limit for the first award and says each further set of scatters adds another batch. Those counts are on the spec sheet too; the tile just lists free games by name.
Big Cat Links jackpots: five tiers or four?
Springbok's pages give two answers to a simple question.
| Springbok source | Jackpot tiers it lists |
|---|---|
| Lobby tile | Mini, Minor, Major, Grand and Super Grand Lobby tile |
| Press release | Mini, Minor, Major and Grand only Sources disagree |
| Game preview | Names the Super Grand as the prize for filling the reels with coins |
The lobby is the live record and the preview backs it, so this page follows the five-tier list, but the shorter list is worth knowing if you meet it elsewhere. The tile also calls the jackpots progressive, which means their values can grow; a figure copied today would be wrong within minutes, which is why we never print one.
One more wrinkle: Big Cat Links is not one of the 10 titles in the lobby's Progressives tab, checked on 9 October 2026. Springbok does not explain how that tab is chosen, so it is not a complete list of slots with growing jackpots.
Big Cat Link or Big Cat Links?
Search for this game and you will meet both spellings. Springbok's game preview calls it Big Cat Link; the lobby and Springbok's press release say Big Cat Links. It is one slot under two spellings: the Slots tab has no separate Big Cat Link, and Big Cat Links sits early in the A to Z run, title 15 of 244, between Beary Wild and Big Santa.
It did not appear in the Popular, New Games or 2X Double Comps tabs on 9 October 2026, so the Slots tab is the way in. Our Springbok image set has no card art for the game, so the play card shows a lettered tile; the photo below is from Springbok's blog, not the game.

Big Cat Links vs Fortunate Buddha and Planet Of The 'Roos
Two other slots we document reach their jackpots through a coin-style round. The tiles line up like this:
| Slot | Volatility | Lines | Coin round | Top tier named |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Big Cat Links | high | 50 paylines | Fortune Link | Super Grand |
| Fortunate Buddha | medium | 50 paylines | Fortune Link | Super Grand |
| Planet Of The 'Roos | medium | 25 paylines | Hold & Spin on 'Roo Coins (Springbok's figure) | Grand (Springbok's figure) |
Fortunate Buddha's tile reads almost word for word like this one, from the feature list to the five tiers, but carries the medium label and has no Springbok preview on file; its page has the full side-by-side. Planet Of The 'Roos reaches its jackpots through Hold & Spin with four tiers instead of five, and carries the IG label. If the safari setting is what draws you, Meerkat Misfits shares the high label but has no jackpot on its tile at all.
Playing Big Cat Links with a bonus
Five jackpot tiers make it tempting to keep spinning for the feature, so decide your spend before you open the game and stop when it is gone. One limit matters more here than on most slots: Springbok's terms cap withdrawals at R25,000 a week, a limit the casino says it can change.
Questions people ask
Is it Big Cat Link or Big Cat Links?
Both names refer to the same slot. Springbok's game preview spells it Big Cat Link; the lobby and Springbok's press release use Big Cat Links.
How many jackpots does Big Cat Links have?
Five on the lobby tile: Mini, Minor, Major, Grand and Super Grand. Springbok's press release lists only the first four, so the sources disagree.
How do you win the Super Grand on Big Cat Links?
According to Springbok's preview, by covering every position on the reels with gold coins during the Fortune Link round. No jackpot amounts are quoted on this site.
Is Big Cat Links in the Progressives tab?
No. Its tile mentions progressive jackpots, but it was not among the 10 titles in the lobby's Progressives tab on 9 October 2026.
Is Big Cat Links high volatility?
Yes, according to its lobby tile. Fortunate Buddha, which lists the same features and tiers, is labelled medium.
